Lab Management
The Public Computer Support unit offers basic lab management and support for departmentally owned computer labs. This service includes creation of an image to enable quick restoration of machines, authenticated access if appropriate (users log in to access machines), automatic updates for operating systems and anti-virus programs, and general maintenance.

The department is responsible for the following- All costs incurred for replacement of hardware and software.
- Purchase or proof of purchase for all licenses and software media.
- Providing information necessary for lab administration like hours of operation, lab procedures or policies specified to department.
Cost of Service
- $500 for each image required for restoration.
- Images can be updated anytime during the year for $35 an hour.
- Inventory of existing hardware billed at $35 an hour.
- Monthly charges of $10 per machine to provide on-going desktop support.
- All repairs on computer not on warranty to be billed at $35 an hour plus materials.
