Printing, Copying and Scanning

This service provides the ability for multifunction devices and printers to be used for fee-based printing and photocopying by integrating them with the PaperCut Payment Gateway and KU Card systems. To use this fee-based printing you must either have money on your KU Card or purchase a special printing card from a participating location.

How to Access

 

Requirements

For a department to offer public printing they must have:

1. Printers must be in the Printer VLAN 
2. Copiers must be in the Printer VLAN and have Embedded PaperCut 


Users must have sufficient balance in at least one of these accounts: 

  1.       PaperCut internal account 
  2.        b) Free Allowance (100 copies or prints per semester), an undergrad student benefit 
  3.        c) KU Card, also known as Beak ''''em Bucks

 

Cost of Service

There is no additional cost, beyond the balance the end user maintains in PaperCut or in the KU Card system.
