Installation Issues: Word and CWYW
A known installation issue is that sometimes after installing EndNote, the Cite While You Write (CWYW) toolbar does not show up in Word. The CWYW toolbar provides tools that allow you to insert formatted citations into your document while you are writing it.
For fixes and workarounds when dealing with 3rd party applications, go to EndNote FAQ 11.
While EndNote X3 is compatible with Vista, Vista users should check the EndNote Vista FAQ for the latest information.
