What Is Maple?

Maple is a statistical software package for advanced mathematics. It includes facilities for interactive algebra, calculus, discrete mathematics, graphics, numerical computation and many other areas of mathematics. It provides a unique environment for rapid development of mathematical programs using its vast library of built-in functions and operations.

License Information

KU maintains a license for Maple that allows free access for up to 100 concurrent connections by KU faculty, staff, and students. Users will be notified by email about any upgrades during the term of this license agreement. More information.

Maple is installed on the centrally supported Instruction and Research server (IRES). More information.
