What Is STATA?

STATA is a command-driven statistical package for statistical analyses, data management and graphic presentations. More information is available on the STATA site (link will open new browser window). Return to this site for ordering information.

For a complete list of labs at KU that have STATA installed, go to computer labs and select STATA from the Filter lab list menu to the right and click Filter button.

License Information

KU maintains a license for STATA (current version 10) and provides it as STATA GradPlan for KU faculty, staff, and students. Because of the University's STATA GradPlan arrangement STATA users at KU should only purchase STATA through the STATA GradPlan using the link provided on this web page. Because of this unique licensing arrangement STATA software should NOT be purchased through SHI

For purchasing STATA:
Purchase is made online at STATA GradPlan. Your order will be shipped to Susan Mercer, Policy Research Institute.
