The IT Help Desk has combined with Networking and Telecommunications Customer Service to give you one place to call for technology assistance. Our new phone number, 864-8080, provides you prompt and helpful service to meet your technology needs. Combining the staff of these two units has also given us greater flexibility to meet your needs.
During this transition, the existing numbers, 864-0200 for the IT Help Desk and 864-9300 for NTS Customer Service, will continue to function.
To provide a single point of contact for services offered by Information Technology in a courteous, timely and knowledgeable manner to facilitate access to information and the innovative use of technology in support of learning, scholarship, and creative endeavor.

Access and Response Problems Resolved with Departmental Web

The access and slow response problems with some
departmental web sites experienced this morning have been resolved. If
you continue to experience problems when accessing departmental web sites, please contac

Security issue with Adobe Flash Player
The Adobe Flash Player contains vulnerabilities
that allow an attacker to use a maliciously crafted file to take complete control
over a vulnerable system. Any system running Adobe Flash Player 9.0.115.0 and
earlier, and 8.0.39.0 and earlier, should be patched. This should be assumed
to be a cross-platform flaw (affecting both Windows and Macs) in the Adobe
