More than likely you have the wrong settings for your SMTP server
(outgoing email server). Instructions for email
settings are
available for programs like Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc. You
may also need to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Oftentimes
that information is available at the ISP's website such as:
