Enrollment and Payment Questions

  • "Make a Payment" button does not seem to work
  • This problem most commonly results from popup blockers. Below are instructions for browser pop-up blockers.


    • Internet Explorer- Hold down the control key on your keyboard and then click on the "Make Payment" button (holding down the control button and clicking will make most popup blockers in Internet Explorer allow a popup to open). Do not release the control key until you either get the same page again, or a popup opens.


    • Mozilla Firefox- Click on Tools then on Options. Click on the "Allowed Sites" button that is just to the right of "Block Popup Windows". Type in ku.edu and click on "Allow". Now click on "OK", and click on "OK" again. Now try clicking on the "Make Payment" button.


    • Mozilla or Netscape- Click on Edit, then click on Preferences. On the left side, click on the + symbol to the left of Privacy & Security. Now click on Popup Windows which will appear in the list underneath Privacy & Security. In the main area of the window, click on the "Allowed Sites" button. In the window that comes up, type in ku.edu and click on "Add", now click on "OK" and click on "OK" again. Now try clicking on the "Make Payment" button.


    • Safari- Click on Safari then uncheck Block Pop-up Windows, alternatively you just press Command+K.


    At this point a new window saying "Important Information" should open up. If you get this window, read the information and then in this window there should be a link to "Make Payment" that you should click on. If you don\'t get this window please contact us at KU IT Customer Service Center - 785-864-8080.


  • How do I Add/Drop/Swap classes?
    • ADD- Log into Enroll and Pay and go to:
      Enroll&Pay Learner Services Academics Enroll in a Class

      There you will see a list of semesters, click on the one you want to add classes. Select the "Add Classes" link at the bottom.

      Either type the Class Number (Line Number) in the box on the left or search for classes using the magnifying glass (if searching, click the small box with a check mark in it next to class you want to add, and it will auto-add to the add classes form).Repeat as necessary. Click Submit.


    • DROP- Log into Enroll and Pay and go to:
      Enroll&Pay Learner Services AcademicsEnroll in a Class

      There you will see a list of semesters, click on the one you want to add classes. Select the "Drop/Update Classes" link of the bottom. Then you will see a table with your classes/credit hours. Next to the class you want to drop, select "Drop" from the action column on the left side. Then click submit.


    • SWAP Log into Enroll and Pay and go to:
      Enroll&Pay Learner Services Academics Enroll in a Class

      There you will see a list of semesters, click on the one you want to add classes. Select the "Swap Classes" link at the bottom. Then you will see a table with your classes on the left. To the right of each class there is a box where you can either type a course ID (line number) or use the magnifying glass to find the class. Make sure that the class you want to drop is left to the class you are adding. Click Submit.

  • Why do I have a hold? Who should I contact if I have a hold?
  • If you have a hold, go to:

    Enroll&Pay Personal Portfolio Tasks Holds

    Then contact the department who issued the hold to find out how to get it released. Or you can go the KYOU Portal and login. Click on the Academics Tab and go to My Holds. If you have questions about who to contact for holds, you can call the University Registrar at 864-4423 for more information.


  • When I log in I get a "Peoplesoft 8" error
  • What do I do if I think my bill is incorrect?

  • How do I create a KU Guardian account?
  • Only students can create a KU Guardian Account

    Log into Enroll & Pay and navigate to:

    Enroll & PayLearner ServicesFinancesKU Guardian Maintenance

    Read the Privacy Policy and then Accept if you would like to continue. You will see a screen that has a table. On the left side you will see a status column. Make sure you make it "Active". Then enter your guardian's first and last name, and email address. Write down the Payer Key exactly as it appears. Click the save button.

    Then give your parents/guardian the following instructions:

    For the Parents: Your student must provide you with their 7-digit Student ID Number, as well as the "Payer Key" created by the student in the KU Guardian Maintenace section of Enroll & Pay. Take this information to the Enroll & Pay website at https://sa.ku.edu

    Use the following KU online ID and password to log into the top-most box:

    KU Online ID: PAYER
    Password: payer9*

    It is important to note that both the KU Online ID and password are case sensitive and so must be type exactly as shown above

    Navigate to the following page:

    Enroll & PayLearner ServicesFinances

    You will be presented with three options: "Account Summary / Make a Payment", "Print / View a Bill", and "Email Address Maintenance". Choose the option that fits what you are trying to accomplish. Regardless of the link you choose you will be asked to enter in the previously acquired Student ID Number and Payer Key before you will be able to continue.


  • How do I view my Financial Aid in Enroll & Pay?
  • Log into the Enroll & Pay System. Navigate through the following pages:

    Enroll & Pay Learner Services Finances

    Then if you have not yet accepted your financial aid, select "Accept/Decline Financial Aid" and follow the instructions given by the email sent by OSFA.

    If you have accepted, and just want to see the details of your financial aid package, select "Financial Aid Status Summary". and select the year you want to view.

  • How do I change my address in Enroll & Pay?
  • Log into the Enroll & Pay System. Navigate through the following pages:

    Enroll & Pay Personal Portfolio Tasks

    Here you will be able to select the information you would like to change and proceed accordingly.


  • Where do I enter a permission number?
  • After you have the class entered into the Add table, click on the course name, e.g. PSYC 104, and there you will find a box to enter the permission number.


  • I'm a parent... how do I access Enroll and Pay?
